Stitch-Ins

Our stitch-ins are informal gatherings online and open to everyone. We are a group of enthusiastic stitchers and we gather every Wednesday morning for a couple of hours and once a month on the first Thursday evening. We stitch, talk, share ideas and information, and show projects.  About 20-30 people attend.

Chapter Meetings

We are currently meeting online once a month on the third Thursday evening of the month. All are welcome to attend.  About 20-30 people attend.

The meeting consists of three segments:

  • Chapter business where we update our membership on the chapter business

  • Golden Needles & Show & Tell

  • A Short Program - The program can be anything from watching a slide show, to learning a new technique, to doing a project.

The Greater Pacific Region (GPR) is one of 13 regions that comprise EGA. GPR encompasses northern California, northern Nevada, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Alaska, and Hawaii. The region serves as a link between chapters and the national organization and aids in effective cooperation and communication among its member chapters.

Within GPR there are 24 chapters. Individual Chapters offer educational programs and resources to enhance and improve your needlework skills. Your chapter membership entitles you to participate in National and Regional educational opportunities such as seminars and correspondence courses, and you receive the quarterly magazine Needle Arts. A complete list of chapters appears in the GPR Chapter Directory.
