Past Projects

The guild participated in the GPR Regional project, 2021 People's Christmas Tree on the West Lawn of the US Capitol. Up to 130 companion trees in federal buildings around the Capital also received ornaments. The GRP region set a goal of 15,000 ornaments coming from the various regional chapters. The tree was selected from a northern California National Park. Many guild members participated in this effort and we were able to submit about 100 ornaments. For this year's effort, click here.

We also embroidered a nursery quilt that was donated to the West Texas Rehab Center as part of their annual fundraiser. The West Texas Rehab Center provides physical and occupational therapy to children and adults in the Abilene, TX area, regardless of their ability to pay.
